The Built Environment Project and Asset Management journal has issued a call for papers.

Built Environment Project and Asset Management is a recognised CIB journal, and the theme of this edition is:
Accelerating Built Environment Sustainability: Proactive Research, Policies and Procurement

Special Issue Aim

The Special Issue intends to inspire authors to develop scholarly articles that address the following:

  1. To capture and synthesise proactive research that contribute to advancing knowledge to overcome common barriers to achieving sustainability in the built environment
  2. To investigate novel theoretical and practical innovations that hold the potential to accelerate sustainability in the built environment
  3. To identify and analyse how new knowledge can be translated into policies and subsequently into procurement protocols
  4. Revisit how well-established and emerging sustainability-oriented theories and principles, in areas such as supply chain management, circular economy, green, lean and digitalisation, can be effectively incorporated into policies and procurement processes within the built environment
  5. To investigate and promote digital technologies as enablers to transform the built environment from a linear model into a circular economy model
