UK Lean Construction Research & Industry Forum 2026, 30th of October 2026 at Nottingham Trent University, UK.
The UK construction sector must deliver major infrastructure, housing, digital transformation and the transition to net zero while improving productivity, resilience and value. Lean Construction offers a practical route to better flow, collaboration, learning and reliable delivery.
This Forum will examine how Lean principles are being applied across projects, programmes and organisations, and what is needed to move from isolated initiatives to sustained implementation.
The event is designed as a working forum. Concise, evidence-led contributions will be combined with practical activities, panel discussions and facilitated whole-room conversations. Participants will have opportunities to contribute to the CIB TG128 Lean Construction Research Roadmap and help shape the future activities of the UK Lean Construction Research and Industry Network.
The Forum is hosted by Nottingham Trent University in collaboration with Birmingham City University and CIB Task Group 128 on Lean Construction.
