Taylor’s University School of Architecture, Building and Design (SABD) is a leading centre for education, research, and innovation in the tropical built environment in Malaysia. Renowned for its interdisciplinary and industry-engaged approach, SABD nurtures future-ready professionals through excellence in teaching, impactful research, and global collaboration. The School offers programmes in architecture, interior architecture, quantity surveying, and construction management, with a strong emphasis on sustainability, digital innovation, and human-centred solutions. Through extensive industry partnerships and international engagement, SABD advances knowledge and professional practice. As an associate member of CIB, SABD seeks to strengthen global research collaboration and contribute to sustainable built environment solutions.
Professor Camelia Kusumo is an architectural researcher and academic leader whose work focuses on sustainable built environments, climate-responsive design, urban resilience, and innovation in architecture. As Head of Taylor’s University School of Architecture, Building and Design, she promotes internationally engaged research that bridges academia, industry, and policy.
