AI’s impact on society has been in the news with the release of tools such as ChatGPT. These tools are proving incredibly able in many domains, for example, this presentation’s title was suggested by ChatGPT. The CIB W78 community has been investigating AI approaches for architecture, engineering, construction and operations for decades. This presentation will review the progress that is being made by the W78 community through AI approaches and how AI is in fact revolutionizing the construction industry as ChatGPT suggests.
