Speaker: Associate Professor Ruggiero Lovreglio (Rino)
Assoc. Prof Rino is an expert in research methodologies and innovative teaching approaches. He is also a distinguished academic in the field of safety engineering, with a strong focus on enhancing safety training through innovative methods. At the forefront of his research is developing and evaluating virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technologies designed to improve emergency preparedness and response. Dr. Lovreglio’s work spans research design and integrating advanced AI tools such as ChatGPT-4 to enhance research productivity and innovation. His research contributions include creating realistic simulation models that increase the fidelity of training scenarios and enable a deeper understanding of human behaviour in crisis situations.
