CIB is delighted to announce its co-sponsorship of the Tsinghua Summer School for International Construction, which this year will run from July 6th to 19th at the university’s beautiful Beijing campus. Guest speakers in previous years have included CIB Presidents, Board members and Commission leaders. The initiative is led by CIB President Dongping Fang, and the fee of 8,000RMB, comprising as it does all tuition, catering and accommodation.
This two-week intensive programme is designed as a global classroom experience, combining:
- Digital delivery and smart construction
- Mega infrastructure and project leadership
- Sustainability and green building systems
- Safety, risk and resilience in construction
The programme integrates academic lectures, interactive workshops, site visits and cross-cultural interaction. It is delivered in partnership with the International Council for Research and Innovation in Building and Construction (CIB), offering participants exposure to an international research and industry network.

- Programme Fee: RMB 8,000 per participant, covering lectures and related activities. On-campus accommodation is available, and a RMB 300 meal allowance is provided.
