GLOBE, the Global Consensus on Sustainability in the Built Environment, was established by the Liaison Committee of leading international civil engineering associations (CIB, ECCS, fib, IABSE, IASS, and RILEM).
This Joint Committee aims to address the significant impact of the construction sector on greenhouse gas emissions by promoting sustainable development practices along the entire construction value chain and bridging expertise from different domains. GLOBE consensus focuses on guiding global decision-makers toward sustainable development in the built environment by advancing science-based policy recommendations, research, and education.
