The 5th President’s seminar series will be panel discussions with invited experts in their field discussing a given topic. The latest panel discussion is titled ‘Does Construction economics support implementation of UN SDGs?’ and will be held on Friday 28th February at 11:30 EST.
This panel, featuring CIB’s latest research, will explore how data from the economic models align with SDGs (W055), workforce-focused economic strategies contribute to sustainability (W123), cultural influences impact economic decision-making in construction (W112), and innovations in procurement systems drive sustainable practices (W092). Experts will discuss the integration of sustainable financial models, workforce economics, procurement strategies, and cultural factors to ensure economic resilience in the built environment. Join us to examine how construction economics can be leveraged to foster sustainable growth, resource efficiency, and equitable development in the industry.
