Working commissions and task groups are CIB’s engine room and critical to the global role that CIB plays with respect to research and innovation in building and construction.
To drive this strong and powerful engine, CIB needs enthusiastic, vibrant, committed, and passionate individuals to play roles in the leadership and day to day operations of working commissions and task groups.
While senior and experienced academics lead and give direction to them, there is an opportunity for early career researchers, as the future of CIB, to get involved, collaborate with and be mentored by these senior fellows to accomplish the outlined goals for any given working commissions and task groups.
Early career researchers (ECRs) are invited to express their interest in participating in their preferred CIB working commissions and task groups. ECRs are able to join a maximum of three working commissions and/or task groups at any given time.
How to express an interest
To express your interest in becoming involved, we recommend that you follow the following three steps:
- Familiarise yourself with the CIB working commissions and task groups – details of each can be found on the commissions webpage.
- Select at least one, and a maximum of three working commissions or task groups in which you’d like to participate.
- Contact CIB Programme Manager Sina Moradi to provide him with your:
– full name
– affiliation
– name of the working commissions and task groups you are interested in.
Once this has been received CIB will take care of the rest
