The winning team in the CIB Vistas 2024 funding programme is hosting a summer school on AI in construction &pProject management. Politecnico di Milano, in collaboration with University of Florida and Technical University of Lisbon, will be running the workshops during September 2024.
Vistas Summer School
The Vistas funding summer school will take place in 6 half day sessions (3.5 hours each) on September 3,5,10,12,17,and 19, from 4:30-8:00pm CET.
Sessions will be in hybrid mode, participants from Politecnico will be in a designated room, and international students joining online.
Each session consists of three parts:
- An introductory session presented by one of the instructors on the theoretical background of session topic,
- a hands-on practice session where they will implement the presented techniques on a real-world example,
- a guest speaker presentation, who are leading industry professionals or researchers working in the AI domain.

Student competition
A student competition will be launched on the first day of the summer school, where all of the participants will be provided a database to work on using the techniques they will learn during the summer school.
On the last session, they will present their projects and the team will select a winner.
