CIB is seeking expressions of interest for leadership positions to drive and coordinate the newly established Task Group 130 Construction 5.0 (TG130).
Construction 5.0
Construction 5.0 (C5.0), which represents the next stage in global construction advancement, presents an exciting vision for the future of construction characterised by high efficiency, health and safety, sustainability, and a human-centric focus, where technology complements human skills rather than replacing them. C5.0 will involve up-skilling and re-skilling of the construction workforce to work with new technologies, incorporate the human element into all construction processes, improve working conditions, and foster a culture of creativity and innovation. To be successful, C5.0 must be tailored to the demands of the workers and the industry.
To address this, CIB has formed a new task group TG130, and has issued a call for coordinators.
Position
We are seeking dedicated, visionary researchers and industry leaders to step into the role of Task Group Coordinators.
Coordinators are responsible for leading the strategic direction of TG130 acting as the primary hub for thematic projects, and reporting progress. This is an exceptional opportunity to shape the international research agenda and establish yourself at the forefront of the Construction 5.0 transition.
