The CIB Board consists of 20-30 members that hold senior leadership positions within their countries’ research and academic communities. It is elected every three years at the General Assembly which is held to coincide with the World Building Congress in that year.

CIB Board Members for the triennium 2022-2025 include:

  • CEOs and other C-Suite leaders from national building research institutes and agencies;
  • Leaders of building and construction departments at national research organizations; and
  • Deans at internationally renowned universities.
