7th and 8th December 2022 at the Edinburgh Climate Change Institute, Edinburgh, Scotland.
The 2022 conference is being co-organised by the University of Edinburgh, the British Geological Survey and Heriot-Watt University. We hope the conference theme will encourage an inclusive discussion on major global challenges (e.g. the climate crisis, conflict and emerging from the pandemic) and the role of disaster research and innovation in a time of uncertainty.
We welcome researchers and practitioners from across the UK and the wider world to come together, share their work, discuss and debate key challenges for the disaster research sector and network with a wide range of experts.
