The deadline for the triennial Dr Wim Bakens Best Coordinator Award is extended to Thursday 10 February 2022. This award is to be announced at the 2022 World Building Congress to a Coordinator or groups of Coordinators who have made a substantial leadership contribution to impactful global collaborative research within a Working Commission or Task Group. About Dr Ir Wim Bakens
After having been employed for 7 years at the Department of Building Design of the Dutch Ministry of Housing and for ten years as Senior Consultant and Partner at one of the biggest Management Consultancies in The Netherlands. From 1994 – 2019 Wim was employed by CIB – the International Council for Research and Innovation in Building and Construction; 23 years as its CEO and the last two years as Senior Advisor. He retired from CIB in the middle of 2019. By education Wim is an Architectural Engineer.
