World Sustainable Built Environment conference update: June 2024

Details have been confirmed for the new dates and format for WSBE24. Previously scheduled for April 2024 in Montreal, this will now be a wholly online conference from June 12th-14th. Full details are available at https://www.wsbe24.org.
The overarching conference theme is “Pathways and partnerships for sustainable built environments”. Abstract submission has been extended to the end of July on a new platform. The previous Montreal abstracts and contacts database is currently being transferred to the new platform and a message should be sent out to all those who previously registered next week (late June).
A strong and diverse Scientific Committee has been established and will be co-led by:
- Prof Greg Foliente, University of Melbourne (Australia) – Conference Co-Chair
- Prof Thomas Lützkendorf, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (Germany) – Conference Co-Chair
- Dr Naomi Keena, McGill University (Canada) – previous Chair of the Scientific Committee of the Montreal event
- Prof Holger Wallbaum, Chalmers Univ (Sweden) – previous WSBE2020 Gothenburg Conference Chair
- Prof Jeremy Gibberd, CSIR (South Africa) – Coordinator of CIB W116 – Smart and Sustainable Built Environments.
