CIB is delighted to announce that University of New Brunswick has joined as an Associate member. We extend a welcome to the CIB network, and look forward to their involvement in the CIB working commissions.
On joining CIB Jeff Rankin of the Department of Civil Engineering at the university said:
An Associate Membership with the CIB offers us significant advantages by aligning with our institutional aspirations, reflecting a shared vision for sustainable development and adherence to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs).
Our commitment to innovation in the construction industry led to our Civil Engineering faculty’s participation in various CIB Task Groups on innovation topics over the past few decades. This involvement has enhanced our research capabilities and facilitated the expansion of our international network and collaborations. The recent establishment of our Off-site Construction Research Centre has further strengthened our engagement, particularly through an active participation and leadership role in W121.
This has accelerated our opportunities to expand our international network, deepen our understanding of global perspectives, and advance positive impacts within the construction industry. We look forward to continuing to make a significant contribution to the global community.
