CIB is pleased to announce the latest organisation to join as an associate member is Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran.
Tarbiat Modares University (TMU) is one of Iran’s leading research universities and the country’s only exclusively postgraduate institution, dedicated to graduate education and the training of university faculty. Its Project and Construction Management group, based in the Faculty of Art and Architecture, is a national centre for research and doctoral training in the field.
Dr Hani Arbabi, Assistant Professor of Project Management and Construction — publicly recognised as the first woman in Iran to earn a PhD in project management — has been designated the University’s Lead Representative to CIB. The University’s initial engagement will focus on Working Commission W065 – Organisation and Management of Construction and W092 – Procurement Systems.
