Smart flexible façades presentation 12th March at 12pm GMT
In 2022 at the World Building Congress in Melbourne, CIB announced the launch of the Vistas programme to stimulate, promote, collect, market, and disseminate a suite of global, visionary research and thought leadership centered around the future of the built environment and its impact on people and the planet. The first recipients were Jan Hugo of Pretoria University and Ruwini Edirisinghe of RMIT.
This presentation will allow us to hear from Jan on the research work into Smart flexible façades undertaken by his team at the University of Pretoria and collaborating partners, and you can read more about the project here.
Jan will also highlight how the CIB Vistas funding has aided in enabling the research project and provided leverage for further funding.
The presentations is being made as part of the CIB Board meeting, and we’re inviting CIB members to join as we believe it will be of real interest.
