Notification to nominate CIB Board members issued to Lead CIB Contacts at CIB Member Organisations and CIB Individual Members,
Paid-up CIB members are herewith invited to nominate a candidate for election onto the CIB Board for the next three-year term from May 2025 to June 2028.
Details of the Role Description.
You can nominate a person via email to myself along with confirmation that the candidate has the appropriate institutional support to act as Board Member, including preparedness to allow sufficient time to carry out Board duties and to fund travel, accommodation and subsistence costs for Board meetings. Please note if you nominate someone else we will ask them to confirm that they accept the nomination and have the appropriate institutional support.
Nominations must be received by 8th November 2024 please. These should include a CV or link to a up-to-date bio page such as LinkedIn and candidates may also include a short statement if they wish.
Based on a review of these nominations the outgoing Board will publish a proposal for the composition of the next Board as advice for the CIB membership. This will accompany the other papers for the 2025 General Assembly, where the formal Election will take place, and will be issued in February 2025. Other candidates will still be entitled to stand, even if not included in this proposal. The General Assembly will be part of the CIB World Building Congress which takes place from 19th – 22nd May 2025 at Purdue University, USA ), and the meeting will be held as a hybrid meeting to enable online participation as well as in person.
