We were saddened to hear of the death of Happy Santosa, Professor of Architecture at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) in Indonesia.
She was best known in CIB for her leadership as Coordinator of Working Commission W110 on Informal Settlements and Affordable Housing which was founded in 2005.
Professor Santosa undertook a Bachelors at ITS and then gained a Masters at University of New South Wales and a PhD at University of Queensland before returning to ITS.
Our thoughts and best wishes are with her family and friends, including Satya, also an alumni from architecture at ITS, who was kind enough to inform us of Happy’s sad passing. May she rest in peace.
