In 2022 the General Assembly of the CIB was held in hybrid format, with those attending the World Building Congress 2022 at RMIT in Melbourne able to attend in person at 08:00 local time and others able to attend online, 51 attendees in total.
The General Assembly is the lead governance body of the CIB, and meets every year with every member represented. Voting rights are as follows: Full members 30 votes, Associate members 10 votes, Individual members 1 vote.
The following business was conducted:
- Approval of the minutes of the 2021 General Assembly
- Approval of the Annual Accounts 2021
- Receipt of the Report of the Committee of Examination 2021
- Approval of membership subscription fees for 2023
- Election of the CIB Officers and Board to serve for the triennium 2022-2025.
