The CIB Board will hold its first meeting of 2026 from March 10th – 12th (China time). The meeting will be held online and items of business will include reports from the standing committees on Programme, Future Leaders, Membership, and Administration (finance). Specific issues to be addressed include:
- Membership growth and value.
- Confirmation of a new task group TG128 on Lean Construction.
- Approval of new Coordinators for W040 – Heat and Moisture transfer in Buildings, W080 – Prediction of Service Life of Building Materials and Components, W116 – Smart and Sustainable Built Environments, and W121 – Offsite Construction.
- Non-membership funding opportunities including sponsorship and research funding.
- A revamp of the CIB website.
- Financial accounts for 2025.
- Approvals of proposed membership subscription levels for 2027 to be considered by the General Assembly (GA) in May.
There will also be online consultative sessions with Coordinators of CIB Working Commissions and Task Groups and separately with Student Chapters.
