The International Probabilistic Workshop 2022 is taking place in Stellenbosch South Africa, 16-17 March 2022. Authors are invited to submit abstracts per email by June 15, 2021 at [email protected]
Whether you are a doctoral student or a well-established researcher, the workshop offers an excellent opportunity to engage in scientific debate, exchange knowledge, connect with colleagues, and discover the picturesque Cape Winelands.
The overarching theme of the event is “Assessment of Existing Structures” with the following identified focus problems:
• Models for resistances and load effects
• Uncertainty quantification
• Service life estimates
• Risk acceptance criteria
• Optimisation and decision making
Contributions related to probabilistic modelling, reliability analysis and risk assessment related to structural design are welcome as well.
