Call for Papers – AUBEA 2022 Conference – Global Challenges in a Disrupted World: Smart, Sustainable and Resilient Approaches in the Built Environment

The 45th Australasian Universities Building Education Association (AUBEA) international conference will be held at Western Sydney University, Kingswood Campus, Sydney, Australia from 23 – 25 November 2022. AUBEA 2022 is organised this year by the School of Engineering, Design, and Built Environment in collaboration with the Centre for Smart Modern Construction, Western Sydney University. The conference will be in a hybrid format with both in-person and online attendance.

With the theme of “Global Challenges in a Disrupted World: Smart, Sustainable and Resilient Approaches in the Built Environment”, AUBEA 2022 brings together researchers, educators, students, and industry practitioners from Australia and other regions, to share knowledge, collaborate, reflect, and learn current issues and participate in shaping the future of the construction and built environment sectors.

The paper submission deadlines for AUBEA 2022 have been revised as follows.

  • Abstract Submission: 26 June 2022
  • Notification of Abstract Acceptance: 24 July 2022
  • Paper Submission: 28 August 2022
  • Paper Acceptance Notification: 25 September 2022
  • Final Paper Submission: 2 October 2022

High quality papers submitted to the conference will be selected and the authors will be invited to further develop these for publication in a special issue of one of the following journals:
