CIB President Makarand Hastak will be visiting India between January 18th-26th to meet with a number of universities and other research organisations in Delhi, Pune, Mumbai and Chennai. He will be accompanied by CIB’s chief executive Don Ward and their itinerary includes meetings with the following organisations:

- Indian Society for Trenchless Technology (ISTT)
- Construction Industry Development Council
- Delhi Technological University
- MIT World Peace University (MIT-WUP)
- NICMAR – National Institute of Construction Management Research
- IIT Mumbai
- ASCE India Chapter
- Institute for Lean Construction Excellence
- IIT Madras,
Makarand will also be participating in a Workshop hosted by MIT-WUP in Pune on “Strategizing and transforming higher education in India”.
