Speech Topic: The path to sustainable concrete construction and the future of concrete
Thomas Uhd is Head of Sustainability & External Relations for the global cement and concrete producer Cementir in the Nordic & Baltic region. He supports the business units with sustainability strategies, roadmaps and initiatives, external communication and market positioning, and public affairs.
In his former position he was Director of the Danish Concrete Association representing the concrete producers in Denmark. He has also worked as Head of Communications and Public Affairs for The Danish Association of Construction Clients, as advisor within the construction and energy sector for companies, organizations, and public agencies, and for IKEA Denmark and IKEA Property with focus on expansion and establishing new warehouses.
