Survey – Professional Governance and Trust in the Construction Market

Survey – Professional Governance and Trust in the Construction Market

We invite our members to contribute to an important international research study led by Deng Xiaomei, Tsinghua University, examining Professional Governance and Trust in the Construction Market.

This global online survey aims to systematically explore current practices, regulatory frameworks, and trust-building mechanisms within the professional governance of the construction industry. The research seeks perspectives from professionals across architecture, engineering, construction management, and related disciplines.

We encourage participation from countries where professional systems emerged earlier — including the United Kingdom, France, United States, and Germany — as well as from contexts with distinctive governance models such as Japan, Singapore, and Australia. Contributions from all countries are warmly welcomed.

The study aims to enable cross-national and cross-professional comparative analysis to identify shared principles that strengthen professional governance and enhance trust across construction markets globally.

Given the strong alignment of this research with advancing governance, professional standards, and evidence-based policy in the built environment, we encourage our members and networks to participate and share the survey within their professional communities.

Your contribution will help generate insights that support stronger, more transparent, and more trusted construction systems worldwide.

Thank you for supporting this important global research initiative.
