We are pleased to inform you that the 51th International Symposium of the commission CIBW062 ‘Water Supply and Drainage for Buildings’, will be held at the University of Maribor, Slovenia, from August 18th-20th 2026.
The Symposium is open to all researchers and practitioners who have an interest in the field of water supply and drainage for buildings. The programme will include, but will not necessarily be restricted to:
- Water supply
- Drainage (including roof drainage)
- Sanitation
- Provision of facilities
- Rainwater Harvesting
- Water Reuse
- Water Efficiency
- Materials for water supply and drainage
- Computer modelling
- Sustainability and climate change
- Water and public health aspects (inc Legionella, etc)
- Codes and Regulations
Authors are now invited to submit an abstract (not exceeding 300 words) for consideration by the scientific committee, by completing the form available at: Maribor 2026 CIB W062 Symposium Abstract Submission Form.
Authors must note whether the abstract submission is for a research paper, technical paper or extended abstract.
Deadlines
Abstract submission deadline is 24th March 2026
Notification of acceptance of abstracts will be sent (to the corresponding author only) by 31st March.
The deadline for all submissions is 7th May 2026. Due to the continuation of our peer review process, please note that we will have to respect these dates, otherwise we run the risk of some papers not being included.
