CIB is pleased to support the NCTI-DCHK Conference – Advanced Digital Construction and Innovation in the AI Era at The University of Hong Kong from December 13th to 16th. More information can be viewed on the conference website, and the draft programme is available here.
The CIB President Dongping Fang of Tsinghua University and CIB Chief Executive Don Ward will both be attending at the end of their tour to several universities in China. Prof Fang will be giving a keynote presentation on “Human-Centric Approach for Urban Resilience”, and Don Ward will be speaking on CIB and improving the impact of research globally.
A number of events are planned around the conference, including
- a meeting with local CIB members, CIB Student Chapters, and other universities and stakeholders at Hong Kong PolyU; – December 12th;
- the Annual Meetings of CIB Working Commissions (W092 – Procurement Systems, W112 – Culture in Construction, W118 – Clients and Users in Construction) – December 13th;
- an afternoon informal tea gathering with CIB members hosted by The University of Hong Kong – December 13th.
The CIB President and Chief Executive will also be attending the CIC Construction Innovation Expo 2025 and conference at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from December 11th to 13th.
The organisers have confirmed that they would welcome CIB members to register to attend, and although it is short notice, they would try their best to accommodate and consider extended abstracts/papers from presenters. CIB members are welcome to contact Don Ward or the secretariat if they would like to attend the meetign with CIB members (December 12th) or th einformal tea gathering (December 13th) so that you can be registered and sent further information.
