SASBE 2024 conference held in Auckland

International Conference of Smart and Sustainable Built Environment (SASBE 2024)

The SASBE 2024 Conference was held in Aukland, New Zealand over 7-9 November 2024, and was hosted by the School of Future Environments and W116 Commission on Smart and Sustainable Built Environments.

There were 209 participants from 44 countries across six continents. It included 11 international keynote speakers, two workshops, panel discussions, and 156 papers presented in 19 sessions.

Many thanks to the hosts Professor Amir Ghaffarianhoseini and Professor Ali GhaffarianHoseini and to the many people who helped review papers and organised the conference.

Conference proceedings will be published in December 2024 by Springer Nature and be indexed by Scopus. Selected papers will be invited to submit articles to collaborating journals including Smart and Sustainable Built Environments, Automation in Construction, Journal of Information in Construction and Journal of Urbanisation, Sustainability and Society.

We are already planning Smart and Sustainable Built Environment SASBE 2025, which is planned to be held in Lille, France in November and will be hosted by Centrale Lille. Leading up to the conference we will provide more details including invitations for papers.
