CIB Vistas and Global Visiting Scholar Programme call 2025

Continuing its drive to encourage visionary research and thought leadership in the built environment, CIB has announced its call for the CIB Vistas Programme 2025. In addition we are also awarding a special fund for CIB Vistas Visiting Global Scholar Programme this year.

CIB Vistas Programme

A total amount of €10,000 has been allocated to the CIB Vistas Programme 2025 Fund, with a deadline for submissions is 15 December 2024.

The fund can be used to support the following, but not limited to, activities below:

  • A PhD student / ECR visiting a CIB Associate or Full member as a short-term visiting research fellow around Vistas theme topics  
  • Holding project meetings, workshops, seminars around Vistas theme topics  
  • Collecting pilot data for a larger grant around Vistas theme topics  
  • Having graduate students conduct an extensive literature review for a conference paper and a grant submission around Vistas theme topics  
  • Research cost sharing for a larger grant project 

CIB Vistas Visiting Global Scholar Programme

The overarching goal of the CIB Vistas Visiting Global Scholar Programme is to foster new relationships and collaborations between Full and Associate Member researchers. The programme seeks to prioritize UN Sustainable Development Goals, early career researchers, and collaborations between different continents and regions of the world.    

A fund of $10,000 CAD is available to an individual from a CIB Full/Associate Member to visit a CIB Full/Associate Member, and it is envisioned the researcher will be able to spend at least 7 – 15 business days at the host institution. 

A clear link to one or more of the UN SDGs.
