22nd International Conference on Construction Applications of Virtual Reality (CONVR 2022) 16 -19 November 2022

We are pleased to announce that the 22nd International Conference on Construction Applications of Virtual Reality (CONVR2022) will be held in Seoul, South Korea from 16th to 19th November 2022. The event will be organized at Chung-Ang University and will be hosted in conjunction with the Korean Institute of Construction Engineering and Management (KICEM) annual conference. The overarching theme for CONVR2022 is “The future of construction in the context of digital transformation and decarbonization” and we welcome paper submissions on a broad range of topics including VR/AR, BIM and digital twins, IoT, artificial intelligence, construction automation, circular economy and sustainability. This year’s program will include a hackathon and workshops with leading international research groups.

CONVR is one of the world-leading conferences in the areas of virtual reality, augmented reality and building information modelling. Each year, more than 100 participants from all around the globe meet to discuss and exchange the latest developments and applications of virtual technologies in the architectural, engineering, construction and operation industry (AECO). The conference is also known for having a unique blend of participants from both academia and industry. This year, we are carefully planning the conference to ensure that all participants have a perfect experience. We have a group of world-leading keynote speakers from industry and academia who are covering up to date hot topics and enthusiastic and keen to share their knowledge with you. We are also organising parallel sessions of thematic presentations and workshops. As all CONVR events in the past, we will invite world-leading scholars and professionals to deliver keynote and plenary speeches, to set the tone for enriching exchanges and discussions during the event.

CONVR participants are very loyal to the conference and have attended most of the editions over the last twenty editions. This year we are welcoming numerous first-timers, and we aim to help them make the most of the conference by introducing them to other participants. Kindly note that the registration will remain open until the end of September. Please visit our website to find out more, and our registration page will be made available soon.
