Sustainability and Resilience in the Built Environment: Changed Perspectives 24-26 June 2022 Colombo, Sri Lanka
WCS 2022 is jointly organised by the Ceylon Institute of Builders (CIOB) and the Building Economics and Management Research Unit (BEMRU), Department of Building Economics, University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. This annual symposium provides a great platform for researchers, practitioners and students involved in built environment and construction industry related research worldwide to network and share their knowledge, experiences and research findings.
Submission of papers:
Authors are invited to submit papers written in English relating to the symposium main theme and associated sub themes (please visit: https://ciobwcs.com/instructions-to-authors/).
Authors are advised to follow the WCS2022 full paper template and guidelines in formatting their papers (please visit: https://ciobwcs.com/full-paper-submission/).
Papers for WCS2022 can be submitted via the ‘Submit My Full Paper’ link in the symposium website.
Important dates:
- Last Date for Full Paper Submission (Extended): 15 March 2022
- Notification of Full Paper Acceptance: 01 May 2022
- Submission of Camera-ready Paper: 15 May 2022
- Submission of Presentation Slides & Video: 01 June 2022
- Registration On or Before: 01 June 2022
- Symposium Dates: 24-26 June 2022
Review Process:
Papers submitted will be sent to at least two independent referees selected from the symposium scientific committee for double-blind peer review. Similarity detecting software will be used to screen all submitted papers.
Should the paper be accepted, at least one of the authors should register and orally present the paper in the symposium. Only papers presented and defended at the symposium will be published in the proceedings.
Publication and Indexing:
WCS full papers are indexed in Scopus since 2019.
Papers accepted and presented at the symposium will be published in symposium proceedings with an ISSN.
Awards:
Ceylon Institute of Builders (CIOB) and Built Environment Project and Asset Management (BEPAM), a journal published by Emerald Group Publishing, have arranged the following awards for the author(s) of outstanding papers and the best presenter(s) of the symposium:
- CIOB Best Paper Award
- CIOB Best Presentation Award
- BEPAM Best Paper award
- Two (02) BEPAM Highly Commended Paper awards
