Every three years, the CIB holds the World Building Congress (WBC) to:
- connect the international building community
- discuss the latest research
- share insights and inspiration to improve projects worldwide, and
- create lasting networks for future collaboration.
WBC2022 will showcase the work of the CIB Working Commissions and Task Groups and include:
- sessions focussing on the ongoing research of our global members.
- thematic keynotes and industry sessions
- feature presentations on state-of-the art infrastructure and building projects currently under construction around Melbourne, including:
- the Melbourne Metro
- road tunnels and freeway projects
- rail separations, and
- high-rise buildings for housing and commercial purposes.
Congress-goers will be able to visit project sites, engage with industry professionals and watch research improving practice in real time.
