CIB International Conference on Smart Built Environment
The CIB TG96 with the Centre of Excellence in Smart Construction, Heriot-Watt University and several CIB Commissions are organising an international conference on smart built environment. Developing and integrating the various aspects of the built environment and infrastructure in a smart approach is a great challenge for cities. Some of the key encounters facing the world growing cities and urbanization development include, affordable housing, employment, transportation, energy, clean water, food supply, quality education and health services, pollution, waste management etc. This conference is focused on how the construction industry can accelerate the pace of innovation to deliver a smart built environment.

CIB W099 & TG59 Invitation Call for Papers
You are invited to attend the Joint CIB W099 and TG59 International Safety, Health, and People in Construction Conference to be held in the city of Glasgow, Scotland, September 9-11 2020. The theme of the conference to be hosted by Glasgow Caledonian University GCU focuses on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 3 and 8: Good Health and Wellbeing, and Decent Work and Economic Growth in Construction.

Of each of the over 50 CIB Commissions a description is given of its:
  • scope and objectives
  • work programme and planned output
  • realised publications (and other outputs)
  • past and planned future meetings, including both commission meetings (in principle for members only) and open workshops, seminars, symposia or conferences
  • appointed Coordinator(s) and other commission Members.
